At JET, we fuel local communities up and down the country, so we understand a thing or two about what makes local life so special in so many different ways. Which is why we invited all you budding David Baileys and Annie Leibovitchs out there to capture the essence of local life for our nationwide ‘local life’ photography competition.

We believed there were lots of great images just waiting to be snapped. Pictures that reflected in a very personal way what local life in our communities is all about. It was a real opportunity to show how you see life in your village, town or county. Entries incuded Landscapes, still life, family, friends, pets and local events!

There are eight regional prize winners. These regional winners will shortly compete for a grand prize weekend in London or York, and a photography masterclass with a professional photographer. All winners will receive block-mounted canvas prints of their ‘local life’ plus a £250 cash prize!
